Powder Sampler Systems

At Wrights Dowson Group, powder sampling systems are designed to suit specific site requirements and customer specifications. The design and operation of the sampler removes the inconsistencies associated with manual hand-sampling methods and delivers representative, repeatable samples.

The Sample Collection System (SCS) allows a pre-set number of samples to be taken automatically at defined intervals from the sampling point. Once a sampling sequence is complete, the system indexes forward, moving the filled jar into a collection position and placing a new empty jar in readiness for the next series of samples.

The operator simply caps the filled jars, which can then be manually removed or transferred directly to the laboratory using a pneumatic conveying system for analysis.

The sample collection system is supplied with hinged Plexiglas doors and a security lock. Sample jars are available in HDPE or stainless steel and can be supplied in a range of sizes. Sampling bags can also be accommodated.
