Wrights Dowson Group bin activators are manufactured in the UK under licence from Metalfab Inc. (New Jersey, USA), one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of bin activators.
Wrights Dowson Group bin activators incorporate the following features:
- Heavy-duty construction designed to provide years of reliable service
- Solid steel suspension hangers drilled at 90 degrees to ensure the activator remains centred
- Energy-efficient cone outlet ensuring unrestricted material discharge
- Available in mild steel and stainless steel
- Secondary baffle above the outlet to aid discharge and often remove the need for surge hoppers and cycling, particularly where low discharge rates are required
Live bin and sanitary designs are available, including USDA-approved options where required. Steam injection and additional features can also be incorporated.
Bin activators, also known as silo dischargers, are widely recognised as the most effective method for discharging difficult materials from bins and silos.
